In Partnership with NYSCATE, The NYC Department of Education, PBLWorks will be hosting a full professional development day for approximately 200 school and district staff members to attend on June 6th.  This event will be exclusively to introduce PBLWorks as the go-to resource for meeting the recommendations by Blue Ribbon Commission for Graduation Measures through Project Based Learning.  This will also involve the partnership of the UFT and CSA, as they show full support to ensure interested union members can attend. This event serves as a catalyst for the introduction of the PBL Regional Conference in NYC scheduled for this Fall 2025.

Participants can select from 4 Tracks:  Math, Science, Social Studies, or ELA

​Participants will explore a project blueprint to understand how PBL can deepen student understanding and demonstrate key knowledge, standards, and success skills

PBL Reflections & Resources
​Participants will reflect on how PBL supports student-centered learning, generate need to knows, and explore resources to help them answer their questions.
