Presenter Bio
Donnie Piercey is the 2021 Kentucky Teacher of the Year and currently teaches fifth grade in Lexington, Kentucky. With a focus on technology in education, he has represented Kentucky and his students globally, running the podcast Teachers Passing Notes and holding prestigious positions with National Geographic and Google Earth Education Experts Network. He has presented in 33 states and five continents and co-authored "The Google Cardboard Book." Despite his global impact, he remains dedicated to his home state, leading professional development in Kentucky school districts.
