Code.org® is an education innovation nonprofit dedicated to the vision that every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their core K-12 education.
Code.org provides professional learning opportunities through Mouse.org, which is a NY-based computer science education non-profit. Full implementation of the New York State K12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards is due to be in place in NY school districts by September of 2024. Code.org has experience supporting state-wide computer science initiatives across the country, including providing professional development and free curriculum resources. As a NYSCATE Corporate Council member, we are looking forward to engaging with stakeholders to help make computer science available to all students across New York state.
