DataMentor: Using Data to Inform Instruction

This session will provide an Overview of Datamentor. Datamentor is the friendly front door to
assessment data and solutions for classroom level teachers. Datamentor compares assessment
results from your individual school district versus your local BOCES aggregate results in order to
locate the gaps that exist in your district.

Rubber to the Road: Making Technology Integration Work

Presenter: Michael Virgil & Philip Sheridan

This workshop will describe how to provide high end technology resources and staff
development to enhance instruction. A particular emphasis will be placed on the use of
technology to support district curriculum goals and the New York State Learning Standards.
Participants will be provided with information regarding the management of funds, purchase of
equipment and utilization of personnel to support technology. In addition, sample lesson plans,
best practices in technology, lists of software, and demonstration of software and hardware will
be provided.
