School districts across the country have had to shift their phased, methodical approaches to any time, anywhere learning into hyper-drive to keep learning and operations running and finish the school year. District leaders are in the midst of planning for the start of a new school year in which technology will serve an increased role in learning. it is a good time to reflect on strategies to help address what CoSN has found for three years running is the #1 K-12 technology priority: cybersecurity.

Join as Marc Plevinsky, Dir of Technology, Cherry Hill Public Schools (NJ),  will share from his own experiences of addressing when problems emerge and suggestions on how to mitigate future attacks.

Marc Plevinsky is the Director of Technology for Cherry Hill Public Schools (NJ). He has recognized that the issue of CyberSecurity was reaching critical in K12. When his district was hit with a security event, he was not surprised. During this session, he will share the experience and what he has learned through the event. He will share some of the key factors and areas to examine for other districts that could help them to mitigate when they have an event.
